is there a way to permanantely do what the swap card does like with tape or something? some way to make it so the swap card stuff isn't needed? if so please post. I heard someone talk of tape. I got my swap card to work, its just a pain in the ass. Is there any other way and easier one?

nope you cant with the big PS2s but you can get a fliptop.

I heard of someone fitting a switch on the side of their PS2, connected to the eject motor, so you simply press the switch to open and close the tray. Apparantly it worked quite well.
