Smash Court Tennis 2 wont copy!

I have a copy of Smash court tennis 2. I have backed up all my games using dvd decrypter, and it has worked all times.. however, when i put in smash court tennis2, then do mode>iso>read to put the .iso onto my computer for me to burn, it gets to 36% then comes up with errors and i can [abort] [retry] [ignore] i have tried retry but the same error comes, i have done ignore and errors keep coming one after the other.

I tried making an imagine file for this game so i can burn it using alcohol 120% too, but yet again i get errors at 36%.

Does this game have any protection or anything on it?

any ideas?

Please help!

Ive backed up this game no probs. Sounds like you have an error, perhaps on the disc especially if it stops at that particular spot....

is the disc scratched ??

its not that great of a game anyway, I only really play the multiplayer with friends

The disk does have some scratches at the bottom, but the game plays fine on my ps2..

and the error is always at 36%, could it be the disk then?
