Comcast DVR - Problems With NBA League Pass?

I recently upgraded to Comcast DVR (Motorola 5100?) as well as the NBA League Pass. When watching NBA games the DVR does not rewind or fast forward properly. When rewinding, it will go back a few seconds but not more than that. With fast forward, it ony allows me to fast forward at the slowest speed. These functions work fine when recording other programs. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I would love to hear any suggestions or similar experiences.
