Help...newbie & trying to create DVDs

Hi all,

I downloaded a movie which came in .vob files and such. The whole download came with the video_ts directory all complete.
What I want to do is create a DVD out of this downloaded file.
I tried using DVD Shrink along with Nero 6.6 I think but that didn't work. Then I tried using the Nero DVD project and that too didn't work.

Well not the way I wanted it.
By doing the DVD Shrink and Nero method it plays fine on my DVD burner playing back but when I insert the newly created DVD in my DVD Rom drive or a DVD player - nothing.

What am I missing?
