Maximum # songs in soundtrack during RANDOM play?

I have over 200 songs right now in one soundtrack on my XBox. I know most may recommend having more soundtracks with less songs in them, but when I'm playing songs on my XBox, say during a party... I want to be able to play all my songs on RANDOM to set up a jukebox, of sorts, and I don't think RANDOM playback can be done THROUGH the soundtracks...

Anyway, to my question... I'm having problems with the music stopping or pausing during RANDOM play, and I'll have to select play again or go to a different song. Is this due to the number of songs I have in my soundtrack... or is this due to something else?

Please help... thanks!
