I very, familiar with all the PSX2 and PSX1 and Dreamcast modded a many a whole lot of many,
OK Ive been searching so many diffrent mods claiming to be the best, Aladdin , X-Bit, Xecuter, etc, So which is it, I think the X-Bit has a 4MB flash,
Anyways which is it? 2nd I want to install a 80GB HD I have an Xtra 80 100 ATA laying around here will it work? IDE?
Point me in the right direction guys, lets get the party started. I want to know everything about XBOX. Thanks

Aladdin is the cheapest modchip you can get I believe, but most people seem to favor the Xecuter chip. If you want to replace the HDD, it needs to be IDE type and not ATA.

i beleive the Western Digital are good for x-boxes but ther's some talk about the 7200 bus speed being a little to hot!!
