me and a friend are attempting this with minimal success

got a v9 ps2
and a brand new DMS 4 Pro

got all connection made perfectly according to the diagrams i got from dms4.com or whatever

but somehow it still wont boot backups...tried dvd-r and dvd+r...

now we didn't connect the T wire (for DVD+/-RW) because we figured we didnt need it...could this be causing the prob?

or our second guess is ~ well i looked at the old install diagram for a dms3 plus and they looked almost identical except~ for the clock wire which i know is no longer needed...the dms4 has an internal clock....and 3 more on the back by the t wire.....

everywhere i've checked relating to this prob says to check wires m-w....now PRSTUVWQ all happen to fall on the back there....and a few of those happen to be the ones left out in the dms4 install diagram...could the diagram be wrong? leaving out wires? i dunno....

any ideas anyone?
