Ok, Im using bittorrent, and the thing im trying to download consists of a few hundred separate files, but when i try i always get an error message saying "errno 24:too many open files". Ive looked all over the net, but cant for the life of me find out how to change the setting in windows xp to increase the maximum number of open files. Somewhere suggested changing 'ulimit' but i dont know where to find it. Most of the searches i did returned stuff to do with linux. How can i do this on windows xp??? Im going mad!!

hi mate ive been using bit torrent for about 1 year now but i know that are;s only so many files you can download at once and the more you try to download the slower your downlod speed will go
