Hi people.
I just burnt a copy of the cdLoader from www.swapmagicfix.com and I got PES4-dvdrip to work.

Though I have heard that the cdLoader even makes can
be used to start up dvd-backups.

So why is there a dvdLoader, when cdLoader seems
to be able to boot dvd's as well ?

and why cant swapmagicfix.com have dvdLoader as download on their page ?

.. the question is simple.. what is it that is so special with the dvdLoader that the cdLoader is not ?

cd loader = cd
dvd loader = dvd

some people have trouble loading cds, they are the same program.

I still cant believe why swapmagicfix.com doesnt have the dvdLoader available for download at their site..

is it so that ps2ownz ownz it ?

because if it is.. I would be more happy
if ps2ownz would let it to be at swapmagicfix instead.

thanks for the "obvious" answer :)

Maybe you have to pay them $10.00 before they'll listen to you... LOL

im pretty sure u wouldnt need dvd loader if u have a modded ps2 because u will be able to boot all dvd-rs on most mod chips. what most people use it for is when swap magic wont boot certain games... correct me if im wrong

you have to have some kind of mod to load ANY BURNED DISCS (except for movies).

So there is NO DIFFERENCE WHAT SO EVER abot the cdLoader and dvdLoader. They contain the same functionality ?

so if I got a working cdLoader on a CD-r,
then I wouldnt be in need of making a dvdLoader ?
(even if it is a dvdbackup that I am to boot)

the cd loader and dvd loader of the same name are the same program there are no functional differences between them if you can get cd loader to work then you don't need to use dvd loader, basicly cd loader is the orignal program and you burn it to cdr, dvd loader is cd loader with a dummy file added and you burn it to dvdr

dvdloader is also about 500-600mb.. its just the same program but they made an iso for dvd, thats all..

the best example to explain why you would want to use dvdloader instead of cdloader is mine:

I have a Pstwo with swapmagic 3.2 and the cd 3.2 does not work on my machine.. dvd works fine.. but can only load dvd games. I cannot load cd based ps2 games.. So with that said.. i cannot boot cdloader on my machine as my cd bootdisk does not work and cannot boot cds.. so instead.. i use my swapmagic dvd to boot dvdloader and it does exacly the same thing..

get it?
