Hi I could use some suggestions on products here.

What I want to do is set up a basic camera (a webcam for example) and then be able to capture the stream wirelessly without using a full computer at the camera.

For example to watch the crib of my new daughter I would like to set a camera and just an antenna in the room that I can fire up to check on her.

Also it would be nice to be able to log the video, say to see what cat is getting into my garbage when I sleep by placing the camera in the garage and logging the video on my computer overnight.

bonus points if someone can suggest a motion switch to cut down on dead air.

My budget is tight so I can't reall afford another computer to do this or a security system. I fugured I could do this with existing product.

Can anyone help?
