Unable to backup Jak III

I haven't been able to backup Jak III. I had no problems with J&D and Jak II, but this one's doesn't seem to work. I've tried repeatedly and every time, I just get a black screen on boot.

Any one else try backing up Jak III, or been able to get further?

Never mind. I upgraded my media to Ritek discs and did a firmware upgrade for my burner. The game work great now!

A friend of mine in america has the NTSC version, real not backup and it reformatted his memory card.

Is yours PAL or NTSC, and is it safe to play without getting a new memory card just for it?

i have the NTSC version and have had no problems with it loading or formatting my memory card

Ok, need to ask around bt that. Cuz its gave me the bejeebies (I just watched undercover brother ok) when I think of buying it. Need to get a good 70:30 on the issue, thanks for the input though... currently at 50:50

hopefully you will get a 99:1,personaly have not heard anyone else complain about it formatting there memory card but let's hope for a few more replies just to make sure
