hi everyone, i have a few questions. i am looking to get a playstation 2 and modify it so i can play back up games. ive heard that hd advance is the best way to do this?

1) do you physically install a hard-drive in the ps2?does it fit in the shell???

2) do you still need a modchip to play back-up games?

3)im not competatnt enough at soldering-is there any modchips that work, that do not require soldering?

if anyone could help me out id appreciate it

1) yes, but you need a "ps2 network adapter." most fit, just make sure it's compatible. best recommendation is maxtor.

2) no, not if you have the original hd advance.

3) there're "solderless modchip." if you have second thoughts about modchips, "ps2 fliptop" is the best way to go.
