Thanks, have found the info.
I installed the Matrix chip but it wo'nt read the disk.
First time I see the infinity logo. After reset it says disk read error no PS2 disk.
Suggestions?

Does it read the disc before you reset? Is it all discs you have problems with, or just backups?

The first time it reads (I can see the infinity logo v 1.2 ) but ends with read error and after resets it only shows the configuration screen.
If I unplug the PS2 and let it stay for a time than it starts all over again. I ca'nt find any bridges
What are critical points?

An original disk is in the PS2 v10

As SCE says, try flashing the chip.
