Help! Repair a glitchy and laggy sound DVD!

I need help! I', working on a dvd project for a friend and the MASTERCOPY I gave him is glitchy on a stand alone dvd player. Not only that, the sound begins to lag halfway through the dvd. Any afterdawners out there know of a REPAIR utility for the glitches?? Problem is, I already deleted the source files so all I have is the physical copy of the DVD. Been using Premiere Elements & Encore but I'll try anything right about now. My deadline was YESTERDAY!! HELP PLEASE!????
