after i installed my fliptop some games would make a wierd noise but i got over it. I tried playing my real copy of frequency and it made a VERY LOUD grinding noise, after it went away it came back and then it sounded like the laser was pushing against my disc. The game worked but i never tried again in fear of ruining my ps2. Do blue bottom covered ps2 games always do that noise? because ive heard that blue colored disc make the laser work harder

That happened to me. I just used a lense cleaner and the problem was fixed (i dont know if it was the lense cleaners that pushed the laser up a bit) and as for the blue bottom discs i think they are supposed to make it easyer to rad not harder. but beates me.
