ghost recon 2 patched for online ?

i was wanting to know if the patching trick works for ghost recon 2 aswell cuz i know it doesnt work on socom and i was wondering if anyone had tried it and also star wars battlefront aswell if anyones has also tried that

as far as i know i have yet to come across a game that cant be patched and played online in the PAL region

Hey bro, it works great online with the patch. The only thing is if you try to go from the online lobby back to the main menue, the screen from hell (please insert correct format playstation of playstation 2 disc) comes up, but either than that, it works sweet. Now if only I were any good at the game :S

oh ya, my socom works great along with my starwars battlefront. Make sure you are using the newest version of WinDip to patch the game, and also make sure that you are using the correct Disc ID. I had some trouble getting my battlefront to work (had to rebuild the image) but now she works like a charm, hope this helps

when u say socom are u talking bout socom II and for the guy that said he hasnt come across a game in the PAL region that cant be patched yet does that mean uve got socom II patched for online cuz i got the image saved on my comp and i was gonna use some other orginal games disc id to patch it but i kept reading every where no point ya cant patch socom II for online but is it diff for pal

yes all games are patchable even socom 2..
allthough i aint been on in a while so i dont know if the patch stops you getting online or not....
you need to use more up to date disc ids and they have to be origanal not ones on the net that will only get you banned...
