I bought Call of Duty, from www.newegg.com. And i want to make a 1:1 copy of it. Because I have to insert the disc when i play i just dont want to damage it. I have Alcohol 120% v1.9. Clonyxxl says to use safedisc 2.9. When i go to the and then next and then browse where to put i click next again. After 3% it say disc read error 812,804, etc. What am i doing wrong. I something missing on my computer?
All help is greatly appreciatied. Thanks

No, disk errors are exactly what you should expect from a Safedisc profile.
Alcohol's Safedisc settings 'skip reading errors' and 'fast skip error blocks' (not supported by every device) during reading and 'bypass EFM errors' during writing are just to make you dump+record a CD image without stopping due to the errors.
Obviously, you need to run the backup copy, that won't be a 1:1 copy, with Alcohol 120% on the system tray with 'bad sectors emulation' switched on (I hope that version of safedisc canot detect the use of emulation software or you're done).
I don't know which software can be used and which are the hardware requirements to produce a 1:1 copy, sorry.

How ya doing -Miami84- i have successfully backed up "Call of Duty" using AL120% and those disc read error you get are completly normal, just let AL120% do its thing till its complete (which may take awhile) but when its done you should have a working backup of "Call of Duty"

Any more problems you run into just post back and we'll be happy ta help.

you use Safedisc 2/3

There is a cool little program calles Aray scanner, it tells you what protection your game has. Its free so give it a try.
