I have a japanese modded ps2 and use AR2 to boot. I dont know if it is soldered or not. I want to buy swap magic because EA games wont work using AR2. Will swap magic work on a japanese ps2? Will it boot up DVD+R? Will it play US backups? Any replies or answers would be helpful. Thanks.

you will need the ntsc/j swapmagic discs designed for the jap ps2

if your ps2 will work with dvd+r media then swap magic should boot them fine

swapmagic will boot imports
