I am trying to split some DVDs into 2 disks (keeping menus
and extras).

I tried the freeware version of DVDFab and followed guides I have found at various sites.
DVDFab creates the subdirectories for disc 1 and disc 2. Each of these contains the various DVD file (VOB, etc...)

Now, when I try to create an ISO to burn, I run into problems. If I try to pull the movie up in DVDSHrink, it says "Invalid data in ....VOB ) the VOB file it lists, I have found contains the "insert disk 2" message that DVDFab inserts. So, DVDshrink won't go any further.

I tried bringing the movie up in CloneDVD and it looks okay, but in the review screen, the end of the main movie displays and error message. I am assuming that it is the same VOB (insert disk 2) portion.

When I try to bring up the DVDFab disc 2 into CloneDVD, it won't show anything except for the same error message as the end of disc 1.

Anyone have any ideas how I can correct this?

I've tried a few different movies and always get the same results.
