Can someone plz tell me what a slide card is and does, how does it work??????? Does it use the hdd at all? i dont want to get a mod chip so am looking into this but i dont know how it works?? thanks

Slide card it just a nifty little piece of plastic that you use to stick in your PS2 to pull out the tray. It unlocks and locks the tray. If you order the Magicswap it comes with simple to use instructions.

Swapmagic is used for games that you burned to CDr or DVDr. If you want to play the game straight from your PS2, you will have to get HDLoader.

Read these forums, and trial and error is how you will learn how to do this stuff, is how I learned.

Im not completely sure about that, I have never used HDloader or really read about it. Im only familiar with the swapmagic and now trying to get familiar with the Messiah chip.

with hd advance you can load and play backups and orig. straight from your hard drive , but you do need the swap magic set to load the back ups , its great to have and saves alot of cash , visit linker4u.com to get a complete set,peace
