I have read many message in here about Tmpgenc couldn't read d2v file. I also have the same problem. dRD suggested to use dvd2avi version 1.76, I did ussed version 1.76 but Tmpgenc still couldn't read d2v file. Could anyone help me out? Other things, I used Tmpgenc to convert directly vob file to mpeg and it worked. Is there anything wrong with it? And how to finalize vcd in Nero 5.5?

If your TMPGEnc can read the VOB directly, that's excellent -- just remember to use the WAV you created with AVI.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">DVD2AVI as your audio source, because otherwise audio wont be correctly encoded.

And if you prefer to use the d2v file, my assumption is that latest 2.5x versions of TMPGEnc don't support AVI.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">DVD2AVI correctly and you should try to use older version of TMPGEnc, like 12a which can be downloaded from our site.
