Hi guys, new to the boards, but have browsed around before. :)

Ok, I have a v9 PS2, Flip-Top, and Swap-Magic 2.0 DVD / 3.2 CD

I've made backups of a few games, and some will run, and some won't.

I'm using a LiteON 8x DVD+/-R/RW Burner, DVD Decrypter, and Ritek Ridata 8x DVD-R's.

I have no problems playing my movie backups on the PS2, just the games.

Baldur's Gate 2 works fine, and was burned the same way as all the others at 4x on the 8x RiTek media, but it's the only one of all the RiTek burns that works, and it seems to work fine.
Prince of Persia:SOT seems to work fine, but was burned at 1x on a 4x Memorex DVD-R Media at my friend's house, before I got my DVD-Burner.

I burn at 4x, as it seems the media/burner won't do it any slower.

Any ideas on why Baldur's Gate 2 will work, but others won't, when I'm doing them all the same way?

Should I invest in the Memorex DVD-R's?

Any help is appreciated, thankyou!

The only thing I can say is try the disc your friend has. If it doesnt work, take them shits back to the store and say the worker told you the Memorex DVD-R's were the right ones and you either want your money back or exchange it. Thats what I did at BestBuy.
