i am backing up my new copy of ELF with will ferril and it says it will take 1hr 45 minutes to just to read it are there any setting to change this ?? so it reads faster the movies is only 95 minutes. is my hardware set up correctly ?? maybe PIO or DMA

I do not have a lot of knowledge on this subject just thought wow thats a long time.

when it comes to burning they go fast just reading takes a long time.

also one other question there is a check box "entire disk"

what is the difference if i check that or not I know it seems kindof obvious but i would like to know if possible exactly what the difference is

example how will it play without checking entire cd will it jusat start the movie immediately with no m,enu or something .

hanks alot guys its all new to me and i am glad to have come across this forum

I would check your IDE settings. They should be set to DMA.

And yes you are correct about it being obvious. You can either do the whole disc or just movie only.
