Hi:

I',m going to buy a new hd drive pro my ps2 but I am not going to buy the original ps3 hdd with FF, because I read that most of the hd's are compatible with ps2 I think I will buy a seagate80gb, well my question is that I don't have any chip for my ps2, also I don't have hd loader, how can I format my hd with ps2 format if I don't have this utility, where can I get it from internet, or there's another one for do it, I would prefer have a tool on my pc, and connect my ps2 hdd to my computer and format from it, Thanks.

1. with a non original sony hd, you cant play games that use the hd (like ffxi).
2. you must have hd loader/hd advance to play games off the hd. And since you don't have a mod, you have to buy one of them.
