LMAO!... TOUCHE!!
@Wolfboy ...As an ex man of the proverbial cloth, I've been following the writings of Pope Hitler the First since he was the not so humble Cardinal Rottweiler. Your depiction is closer to the truth than you know! In the soft-core porn flick "Flesh Gordon", they addressed Emperor Ming as "Your A$$holiness" ...methinks this one time hitler youth has pooped on the ol' throne of St.Peter!

Man thats a very good paying job for someone in High School(I think you're in HS, may be wrong). BTW I'mupgrading to an E6750 as well, but I would hold on till the price drops on the 8800 GTX.
Well, my hours got changed from 3AM - 11AM to 12PM - 8:30PM(11 - 12 is lunch hour for the office workers working 17 hour shifts!!! They work on alternating days during harvest season :P)Now I can attend the morning session at my school, a public high school for working students that goes from 8am to 11am.
Only difference for me is $8.79 an hour vs $9.50 because more people work the same shift as I do. The $9.50 is supposed to be kind of a bonus to get more people in during the morning hours so as to get more cranberries loaded.
My job is to stack boxes of packaged cranberries on pallets. 144 boxes per-pallet. I loaded about 2 tons of cranberries by myself today :P
-----------------
As of now the E6750 is already cheaper than my E6600 was(and still is, I might add) so it is a sure thing. I already have more than enough money for it.
I'ma probably still wait on the 8800GTX as you said. There's bound to be a bit of a drop in price soon.
------------------
My latest purchase? Two packs of smokes(Newport 100's) and a six-pack of Mountain Dew for lunch at work.
I also just bought an '88 Ford F-150 off my friend for $1200. It's in pretty good shape. Minor rust spots on the fender wells and that's it. And this baby has some POWER!!!
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 4GHz(20 x 200) 1.5v 3000NB 2000HT, Corsair Hydro H110 w/ 4 x 140mm 1500RPM fans Push/Pull, Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5, 8GB(2 x 4GB) G.Skill RipJaws DDR3-1600 @ 1600MHz CL9 1.55v, Gigabyte GTX760 OC 4GB(1170/1700), Corsair 750HX

And thank you. I've needed a job... my last boss was taking money from the company and not paying me. I was behind by 4 paychecks :S

Come race here, Miami isn't too far from where I live. Although I do hate rice burners. Have you guys seen those "gayified" Dodge neons out there? They look like crap.

Couldn't agree more. I myself side with the Swedes when it comes to automobiles. Go Saab! Heres a pic of my 1989' Saab 900 SPG (Saab Performance Group).

any road but a straight highway and i'd take you down, scott. good suspension, AWD, a tight 5-speed, and a dedicated driver--i win. :-)
abuzar: the cheaped-out dodge neons aren't really rice burners (unfortunately, they're still american cars--making us look worse), but they are riced up pretty well.
dodge stopped making them for a reason. :-)
PIAP: saab is classic. :-)
i love my car--it's the best of all world's. 5-star safety, enough power to get me anywhere i want to go, reliable, 30 mpg...everything one needs in a daily driver.
for a weekend fun car, sure it's lacking; but that's why i plan on building a '68 charger...
...with a viper drivetrain. ^.^

I know technically the "rice" part comes from Asian people eating a lot of rice, thus referring to Asian made cars.

I love my truck. I've already had to help tow a car out of a ditch with it :P
It doesn't even stutter. Just pulls that sucker out like a... well... like a car out of a ditch I guess :)
My '71 Nova would toast (just about)any car on the road short of a Dodge Viper or a Corvette. We put the 357 in the Nova and it tests out at around 412 horses with 465 ft/lbs of torque. It's the kind of car that peels out at every stoplight, independent of the driver's experience :P
Even if your little pansy-wagons can outrun me you still can't beat the style with which I run :P
EDIT:

The '68 was(and is) a damned nice car. Build it and love our American cars like they truly deserve :)
