I have a hd loader, not advance and a sony 40 gig hd and a network adaptor....i know i dont need a modchip to install the hd loader but i was wondering if i need mod chip in order to play backed up games? Is their anyway that i dont need a mod chip to play back up games on the hdd

im not positive , but i think hd advance is the only one you can load backups with , and you still need swap disc set

on hdloader u can use the swap magic disks do install backups onto ur harddrive.
