Hello,

I was wondering if there is a PRV out there with no monthly fee? I am intrested in recording movies I watch on digital cable.

I don't if you have came up with a solution but for $300 or so you can get a panasonic showstopper off of ebay that has no subscription cost. I have had one for about 4 years and would be hating life if I lost it. However, they do run hot so you may need to replace the HDD from time to time(once every 2-3 years, so buy Western Digital) :)
