Hdloader rules. Games load faster, you just throw 20-30 on your hd and pick one from a list. You can also copy them to your pc hd faster and transfer them via pc handiness (I like this one but there are 2 others apps that I know of) by taking the ps2 hdd out and connecting it to your pc.

Best investment for your ps2 that you can make. Here's a thorough compatability list so you can look for specific games that work with hdloader/advance.

HD Advance lets you use a 200gb hdd but you have a disc for cd games and a disc for dvd games (I think this only applies for copying via your ps2.

If a game doesnt work when you put it on the HD u try mode 1,2 or 3 etc then attempt to play etc and then eventually you will (hopefully) find a combination that makes the game play from the HD!!

Have you tried it? The chart says it fits but (1) guy says HDL doesn't detect it. He might not know how format it properly. I can't see it work on all versions, except v5.

I'd connect it to the ps2 and let HDloader format it for you. Doesn't that make more sense? You know that HDloader will set up your drive the way it wants it, right?
