2VCDs to DVD--sound doesn't match video

I followed the tutorial to create a DVD from 2 VCDs and everything worked great...except when I use DVD Lab to multiplex the audio/video, it drops about 3 seconds of black from the video file after the Shaw Bros. logo plays on the screen and now the sound track is off by 3 seconds.

The combined .mpg I created with TMPeng plays fine. It's the .VOB from DVD Lab that is missing the frames.

Any ideas?

hay can you tell me how do i put 2 vcd's unto on dvd. where did you find this tutorial. thank you very much for your time
