If u have bought the halo2 limited edition and actually watched the second disc u will see that the E3 demo (8min) was made especially for E3. It also tells how the creators had to cut out many features from the original halo2 version because they ran short of time.( things cut out included a number of other covenant and other vehicals and weapons including the flamethrower and the ATV )
