I have a v4 PS2 and will be using swap magic dvd 2.0 along with a slide card(should arrive any time this week)to play copied games.

Now, you guys already suggested me to buy Verbatim DVD-R's. I went to the local shop and they have them at 8x speed, but then I read somewhere that there were problems with those. Is this true? And if it is, would it be better if I bought the 4x DVD's or is it not that big of a problem?

Also, I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me at what speed I should burn Metal Gear Solid 3. I've seen people post too many different speeds, but could someone tell me what is the most prefered(also keeping the Verbatim DVD-R's in mind)?

Get the 4x just to be save. I burn all my games at 2x and they work fine.

Ps2 Version 7.
