I'm not sure where this topic should go so I'm writing here.
I am being cut off when trying to download music because there are no files showing on my Shared Files list. I don't blame folks for doing this, but can't figure out how to change my options to allow the files I have to be uploaded.
When I do download it goes into a folder marked C:\My Shared Folder. But when I click on My Shared Folder, none of the files are there, hence non are available to others. I want to correct this but have no clue how to do it.
Any help would be appreciated with this.
If this is posted in the wrong place, please advise and I will post in the right area.
Thanks -
Len

When you initially set uo WinMX you probably never selected to share your folder with other WinMX user's. You can rectify this by opening WinMX, clicking on the 'shared files' tab, then '+ share folder' then in the pop up window select the folder which is used for your downloads.
Problem solved...

Thanks for the response.
After working on this for quite a while, I came to the same conclusion but still couldn't get it to work right. I finally figured out that in order for the changes I made to take affect, I had to restart the application. It's now working the way it should.
