OK. So I've finally encoded successfully, but now Nero only wants to burn my svcd as an image. I have read the svcd guide here for burning with Nero and I my version doesn't seem to have all the options that seem to be there, like finalize or record speed. How can I get it to burn to the disk itself and not to the HD as an image? I then tried to burn the image created and once again it wanted to burn the image as an image to the HD.
Please Help!

What tool did you use to make the SVCD?

I used TMPGEnc, but I remember the one time I tried to use Nero to encode and burn it had wanted to save as image. At the time I simply thought that the encoding went wrong...

My guess:
You're using the demo version now, my friend.. Buy the full version.

I see what you mean. The weird thing is that I got it with my Burner. Yamaha.
Ahead doesn't seem to have much online help do they. What is WMA and do I need one as well?
Hope you can help me again,
Bo

Well, you were right about the Nero thing, now all works well. Must not have installed correctly, or something...
Anyway, thanks for the glossery tip, but I am still unsure if I need it or not. When would downloading their patches for WMA be applicable?
Thanks again, Bo

You don't need WMA, it's not relevant to any regular video format -- SVCD and VCD use MPEG-1 audio and DivX's normally do the same.
