Im looking at getting Advanced or Loader.Loader seems to be the better choise as its more reputable and every one biggs it up.Advanced every one just slags it down even tho it has the ability to increase the HD useable size.It also has the Use your Copyed games with out a mod chip option.they say it can be done with a swap card.Hummmmm very interesting.Yet Loader says "nope not with out a mod chip"Who is the porky pier then?
ive been looking for the free version of loader to give it a try but cant find it any where.Any one help me at all?Also its been written that you need to put the disk in the ps2 to formatt the drive.Due to the Networ connection on the NIC card surley you should be able to comunicate with the HD through a cat5e cable.Kinda like Hooking computers up.Every thing ive written is theory as i dont have the kit at the moment
hd loader can load backups with a slide card just like advance. there is also a hack for hd loader that lets you use a hd as big as you want. Of coarse, you need a way to play backups before you can use the downloaded version of hd loader.
I have 2 ps2s w/ hard drives, so I decided to buy both HD Loader, and Advance 2.0.
Although they both do the exact same thing, I have to say HD Loader seems to be the better program. I'm not dissapointed w/ HD Advance, it just seems to me that Loader is a better written program.
