I was just wondering if anyone knew where to buy SMD in Toronto or the surrounding GTA?

Also I was just wondering what hte big fuss is about the new SMD ver3.3?
You can use 3.0+ disc and it will still work wont it?

Youll have to order the Swap Magic Disc 3.3. Just go to
www.modchip.ca and there youll find it. This website is Canadian and youll recieve you delivery in 2 days.
It comes with a slide card or you can buy it with the flip top, which is way batter then the card. The 3.3 version works for all version of PS2s including the new Slim PS2. All other discs like 3.2 or below wont work with with the new versions of PS2s like v9 and v10
and new PS2.

Too many ppl have complained and are still waiting for there copy to ship from modchips.ca. The 3.2ver does work for the slimline PStwo. Finally modchips.ca is expensive. To conclude this post, does anyone know where in the Toronto/GTA I can pick up a copy of SMD?

SM dvd v2.0 does not work properly in my pstwo. It reads once in a great while. I think i've managed to get it to read like 5 times in the 3 or so weeks that i've had it.

I think you have a faulty disc (dvd 2.0) because the dvd version hasnt changed the cd version one did (3.2-3.3)

**Edit**

I went to Pacific and asked all of the video game stores and they all had this dumb founded look when i said swap magic disc. I dont wanna install a chip because it voids your warranty and decreases the life the unit (steals power from the laser causing it to malfunction).

A swipe card will damage your system to. You stop your disc from spinning and this will damage your system later on. Well thats what i've heard.

I stand corrected about the dvd version not being changed. But from what ive been told from ppl who own the dvd(ver2.0) it works perfectly fine. This site also states that it will work with the PStwo SlimLine.
