how do i install this hack patch in dead or alive xtreme beach volleyball?

i download the devils advocate hack patch for doa volleyball, and i have no clue what anything means in the instructions, or how to get it to work (i am planning on backing up DOA up to a dvd-r, not the hd). what i don't understand is what run the patch means, or how to install it. if someone could explain these instructions to me, and how to get it working on my backup, i would appreciate it:
Run the Patch.default.ppf to the default.xbe file
Then Run the Patch.datadvd.ppf to the datadvd.afs file.
(DOAXBV - PPF textures patch DOZI/MIRAGE/VERSAPACK
Please note that if U do not run the first patch on the default.xbe file that the nude texture patch will freeze up the game either right @ the begining or right after you select a character.
Hopefully this clears up everyones issue's much like I had with the screen freezing.

You have to get a program called PPF-O-Matic 3, then extract the default.xbe file from the game. Using PPF-O-Matic 3 to apply the patch to the default.xbe file. When you play the game, the girls will be naked.
Then use the same method and patch the datadvd.afs file with that datadvd.ppf file.

I forget what it's called,but there's an easier patch on xbox-saves.com that has it's own GUI. All you have to do is check of what patches you want and let er' rip. It comes with;
money hack
all suit for a buck hack
wire frame hack
nudity hack

I recall the hack at xbox-saves still censors the "areas" with stars and heart.

I did the exact same thing, but my game freezes in the startup.
I have done the Quote:

However, i ftp directly into the hdd, is this a problem?

if that patch is edited, which that's what i heard (their nipples, fuckholes, and assholes are covered by hearts & stars). you can find the good patch that i have (un-edited) on mIRC at #xbins on EFnet.
let me know if that patch on xbox-saves.com is edited, i'm curious to know.

The only thing that the xbox-saves patch doesn't get rid of is the strings of the bikinis....but there's another fix for that somewhere on the site as well.

Ok, for those who are interested here is the method to get uncensored doax. It's tricky to figure out b/c it's command line based, but even if you know dos commands like me it's still tough, but not so much after you read this explanation. (I just tried it on my Jap version and it works perfectly. Unfortunately the links from xbox-saves with an easy to use gui only give the censored heart&stars nonsense). FYI, I'm using a 1.0 xbox with evox bios and dashboard and a new 80GB hard drive on my box. You need some files, all of which can be downloaded from xbins .if you don't know how to use xbins, go here:

1) Get:
PPF-XBOXv07a.zip
DeViLs AdVoCaTe Idiot Guide.rar
2) unzip them all into a single folder called ppf-xboxv07
3) rename "PPF-XBOX.XBE" to "default.xbe"
4) using your ftp program, upload the "ppf-xboxv07" folder into the xbox drive: e:\apps\
then upload the doax game (in a folder called "doax") from your xbox dvd into f:\games\

5) creat a new text file then copy and past these commands:
a f:\games\doax\default.xbe e:\Apps\PPF-XBOXv07a\Patch.default.ppf
a f:\games\doax\datadvd.afs e:\Apps\PPF-XBOXv07a\Patch.datadvd.ppf
6) after saving this text file, close it and rename to:
ppfx.lst
7) upload ppfx.lst into the "ppf-xboxv07" folder from step 4
8) reboot xbox, run the ppf-xbox program and it will automatically patch the needed files, and give you a status of the progress along the way
9) Finished! Now if you run doax from the hard drive it should be totally uncensored (of course you could then back up those files to DVDR). If you see stars&hearts it means datadvd.afs was not properly patched. If you see bikinins it means you completely messed up, and probably didn't upload the folders into the correct locations.
