VCR operated via your PC????

Hi,

Can someone please tell me if they know of a VCR that connects to a pc, where then the VCR can be operated via software on the pc. I've been told a vcr like this exists but I have no idea who would manufacter it. Could it be true? What I really need are VCR's with Jog Shuttles, but they aren't manufactured anymore.
