Best DVD-r media for pioneer DVR 103 drive

I am making DVD movies, but need to know what cheap media wooks well with the DVR 103 drive. Also, where can i buy it.

i also have this drive. verbatim is the best i've found because it will burn at 2x. i tried memorex and it worked well too but burns at 1x. lately though i've been getting ritek in bulk and they work just as well as anything else but burn at 1x. for around $1 a piece get the ritek. got mine at www.prestoshopper.com and am very pleased

I use Clonedisc or White label with my old pioneer 103..they didnt give any probs and they burnt 2x without porbs. I have now Pioneer 104 and I burn Whitelabel and Datawrite 2x without any problem und firmware 1.31.

I use lynxdv personally.

Also, I recommend any disc manufactured by RITEK. They seem to manufacture for other suppliers.

From what I've been reading over the past few months, media seems to be improving, usually becasue of the "dark purple" dye being used.

I suggest you don't buy too many discs at a time, then as better supplies become available, you'll be able to take advantage.
