I have a PAL DVD I want to encode to NTSC. I've done this many many times with DivX/XviD files using DVD2SVCD and editing the AVIsynth script.

I know I could do this in the same way using DVD2SVCD and CCE encoder, but the point is that I don't want to un-necessarily re-encode the DVD... I just want to apply a small AssumeFPS script to the m2v file, run pulldown.exe and stretch my audio.

here's what I think the script should be but I get the error "MPEG2Source couldn't open file" in AVSEdit.

TIA

here's what I have for a script so far:
# Created by AVSEdit
# Administrator 12/3/2004
#
LoadPlugin("MPEG2Dec3.dll")
MPEG2Source("D:\DVD [D drive]\VTS_02_0.m2v")
BilinearResize(720,480)
AssumeFPS(23.976)
