I installed a neo12 successfully onto a v9 PS2, everything was working great before i installed it, now that i installed it the dvd won't read, i hear this zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, i opened the dvd up, looks like the lens is being pushed forward and nowhere else. looks to me (not suppose to) that + and the - are reversed ?????? don't know, but what could of happened here?
any comments is greatly appreciated

i cant help you but maybe you can help me, i'm tryin to install a neo 12 to my v9 also but i'm having some trouble soldering the last 5 wires, they look like there on the back of the board in the picture but i'm not sure and if they are on the back theres a metal thing in front that i cant get off its being held in place with 5 things that arent screws and the ribbon cables are in the way how did you do it?

PS2 v10 w/ flip top & swap magic 3.3
O/S: XP home 2002 SP2/Genuine Intel T2400 @ 1.83GHz/1GB RAM/120GB HD
