I just recently bought hd advance 2.0 and a maxtor 120gb harddrive and am about to buy the new dms4 pro modchip.
I tried burning directly to the harddrive smackdown vs. raw and to my surprise it didnt go through just a black screen i read somewhere that it was because it was a double layered dvd9 region disk and thats why. but i have all the dvd id utiltys and am wondering if their is any way of backing up this game using a modchip hd advance or any other way.
i would really appreciate this.

once a black screen comes up that means that your mode set is not right.....put that game to mode 3 while selecting your game you want to play by pressing select then enableing mode 3 that should almost for sure clear your problem
