NFSU2 PAL Version For NTSC

I got Need For Speed Underground 2 PAL Multi5 and the screen flickers, because my TV is NTSC. I expected that problem, but when I tried Onimusha 3 PAL version : it asked me what screen refresh rate I wanted. I chose 70hertz (or 75 hertz,not sure) and the screen stop flickering and it worked. I can't choose screen refresh rate for NFSU2, is this normal?

yes it's normal not all games offer you the option to chance the refresh rate
