I have had no problems backing up any games until this one. It reads it fine and then when I start writing it, it works fine until half way through and stops and gives me an error message. I have tried 3 copies of this games from different people. Can anyone help?

What speed are you writing at? Usually to fix errors just lower the writing speed to minimum... yes it takes longer but it usually fixes those errors

It is sony I think. How can I make sure? As far as the error message. I can't remember exactly. I just know on this game it gets half way through burning and then it gives me the error.

I backed the game up fine. Are yu using DVD Decrypter? It should be a simple ISO read and ISO write operation. You should also burn at 1X speed also. You also might want to try a different media. I always use ritek GO4. I have had over 150 backups with no problems.

Yes I am using decrypter. I have had no problems except for this game. I'll try 1x speed. I have used a no name brand of dvd-r and then I have used tdk dvd-r. Oh well I will ret it again on the lower write speed. Thanks for the info.
