I have been searching around to forums and trying to figure out is the maxtrix fix for the lasers are 100% I want to get a slim premod ps2 with maxtrix from xmodd, but it seems like there's still too many problems. Any thoughts.

The laser on my PSTWO (slimline) that I purchased from Xmodd burnt up the first time I played a game on it after only 10 minutes of use. Xmodd have corrected the problem though. I bought my PSTWO before Xmodd started using their current laser fix which actually works. Xmodd is repairing my PSTWO free and they gave me a free game (ATV Offroad Fury 2).

I recently got a slimline Matrix mod from socalmods and its working great. I think a small resistor was added to avoid the laser burnout.
