XCHIP misc questions

I have a few questions regarding the X-CHIP v1.0.

I have everything up and running, perefectly; except for a few minior annoyances. Here's my config:

xchip v1.0
evox m7ej bios
Slayers dashboard 3921

When I first power on the xbox I have to select which BIOS i want to boot from. Anyway to make it default to the M7?

In the system management on the dashboard, I selected to NOT AUTOPLAY DVD but whenever I insert it or boot with the game in the rom drive, it loads automatically!

Also, the in game reset doesn't work when I am in a game - it works if I am just sitting at the dashboard.

please advice
