Can anyone out there help a complete moron learn how to create a VCD. I have an Athlon T-Bird processor 512 mb of ram a DVD Rom drive and a CDRW drive. What software should I use? How do I go about doing it. Where the hell do I begin? Somebody PLEASE help. Obviously I'm new to this, but any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

If you mean creating a vcd from a dvd, then try here http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/dvd2vcd_with_smart_dvd2avi_tmpgenc.cfm

Now with that guide, you use TMPGEnc, and there have been a lot of updates to TMPGEnc since that was first written but don't worry, you'll still find your way.
