I just bought some swap magic discs w/ slide-card.
However I have absolutely no clue whatsoever how to use any of it. The disc works fine when inserted, but opening the system using the slide-card is the problem...I don't have any idea how i'm even supposed to hold the slidecard much less open the PS2 with it...Iv'e tried their main webpage but i still cannot figure it out. Someone please help
First you have to take off the CD Tray's "lip cover" You know, the black bar with the PS symbol on it? There are instructions on the net that show/tell you how to take it off, once you do that you just insert the slide card into the PS2 and slide it from left to right to open, and then close it back up.

There is a white mechanism that moves from left to right, or right to left depensing on if it's open or closed. Insert your card into the left (when facing the PS2 of course) and slide it to the right, you might have to "force" it a LITTLE, since there will be resitance, if you here clicking it's "normal" i guess since it's not meant to be pulled out.
What the sliding does is move the white arm over to eject the tray. You'll only have to eject the tray part of the way, enough to grab it and slowly pull it the rest of the way out. And i mean SLOWLY, if you break it, your screwed.
Ok,sounds simple enough buy which way do i insert the card...with the hook facing left or right?
And how far do i have to place the slide card into the PS2?
When facing the front of the PS2, you insert the slide card on the left side of the tray with the hook facing left as well. Just find an area that the hook, well....hooks, then pull the card to the right.
I don't know if i'm doing it right...It hooks onto something deep in the middle, i pull it right slowly and carefully but it does not budge and when i add more pressure the card just comes out as if the thing it was stuck on doesn't move.
Is there more than one thing that the card can hook onto or do i probably have it, just not doing it hard enough or something?
I'm not sure EXACTLY where it's supposed to hook, but just keep trying it, and if it takes more than 5% of your strength to try and open it, then it's probably not right lol. Trial and error is the only thing i can tell you now. Sorry =(
