what do the letters and numbers mean next to *decryption status* when encoding.

What don't you understand that xyz KB of data are being done every second ? That's the proggy's rate of speed ? Like a car's speedometer.

The amount of buffered files shouldn't concern you as it's the program's "shock absorber".

Time remaining is Minutes and seconds, a measurement of the passage of time on the planet Earth and should be watched very, very closely.
