The TDK DVD-R are a good bet. First of all -R are suitable for playback on stand alone machines. Some of the stand alone machines won't play +R. So get -R.

BestBuy & Circuit City sell good DVD media as does Costco. If I were you I would start off buying smaller quanities until you find the right one for you. then once you know what works you can buy the 50 or 100 packs. Start off small, save money and find out what works.

Check out http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/

This program will tell you how you media is rated.

Do some more reading.

Good Luck

This is the best way. http://www.rima.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=R&Product_Code=1736-100

Your getting these 1st class discs for less than half of what the garbage sells for. If you walk into and buy a familiar name like Memorex you don't know who the real manufacture is. They could be 2nd rate or 4rth rate landfill material.
