DVD Trimming tool help????

Does anyone know of a good program that will allow me to trim and edity my movie with, I have recorded a program from the tv on my home burner using a dvd+RW Disc and now I want to use DVd Lab to make a proper dvd of it, I have tried using Dvd Shrink to edit the movie from the disc ive recorded it on but Shrink doesn?t recognize it, i used dvd Decrypter that works ok and it's put on my desktop as a vob file, but it will not open using shrink can anyone help.
